The Symbolic Grand Lodge of Paraguay inaugurates Paraguay's first Masonic monument

Asuncion, Paraguay. Today at 8:30 AM will take place the inauguration ceremony of the first Masonic monument in Paraguay. The ceremony is part of the celebrations which are held with the occasion of the 35th Annual Meeting of the 6th Area of the Inter-American Masonic Confederation taking place these days in Asuncion under the auspices of the Symbolic Grand Lodge of Paraguay.

The ceremony will be led by Grand Master Euclides Acevedo and the monument is located in front of Silvio Pettirossi International Airport. The monument was built by Pitágoras #17 Lodge and with the support of GLSP. The Masonic monument commemorates the bicentennial independence of Paraguay and illustrious Freemasons of the country such as General Bernardino Caballero and Marshal Jose Felix Estigarribia.
