Chilean Parliament pays tribute to national Freemasonry

Lisbon, Portugal. "The new dimension taken by the Portuguese scandal affects the image of our Order", is the statement made this morning by APMR's Secretary-General. He expressed total disapproval of the petty intentions of those groups seeking specifically to destabilize the Portuguese Order.


The new revelations of the Portuguese central press highlight another Grand Lodge, recently founded and which is "supposed" to be more secret than others. By this time the Regular Grand Lodge of Portugal acted with a worthy Masonic conduct which is to be appreciated.

Xalapa, Mexico. The Grand Master of Veracruz believes that the crisis increased the number of youth who commit suicide. Dr Luis Alberto García Leyton, Grand Master of United Grand Lodge of Veracruz, said that "In Xalapa a young person commits suicide minimum once a week."

The U.S. government refuses to allow the Grand Master of Cuba to enter the United States

Havana, Cuba. Regular Freemasonry in Cuba enters in the attention of the media after the Grand Lodge of Cuba's leaders have not received a visa to enter the United States where they were invited by the Grand Lodge of Florida.
