London, United Kingdom. The Freemasons’ Grand Charity of the United Grand Lodge of England has donated in the past two months more than 1 million pounds for charities. 402,000 pounds were donated for medical research, youth and people with different problems.


British Red Cross has received £ 50,000 to fund a first aid unit vehicle in West Wales. Worcester Cathedral has received £ 25,000 to fund an apprentice stonemason. The British Epilepsy Society received £ 38,000 to fund a research project on the genetics of epilepsy, and the University of East Anglia has received £ 50,000 to fund research on urine biomarkers in prostate cancer.
