Mexico City, Mexico. Illustrious Brother Manuel Jiménez Guzmán is the new leader of the Supreme Council for Mexico. He was elected on April 25, 2012, replacing Onosandro Trejo Cerda.


Jiménez Guzmán is a member of the Institutional Revolutionary Party, with a long activity in the Mexican Freemasonry and in the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. His election in this position was welcomed by Mexican Freemasons, being considered a leader and a Freemason which will promote the respect between symbolic and philosophical Freemasonry.
